Class 3 Driver
Seasonal (Apr – Nov) with the potential for year-round work.
Do you have a passion for efficiency and like to show pride in a job well done? Then this job is for you. Blue Grass, Calgary’s largest Nursery and Garden Center is looking for outgoing, reliable people to work delivering products to our customers.
Duties include:
- Delivering a variety of soils, mulches, sod and trees to locations within Calgary and surrounding areas
- Operating our water truck and watering trees at our location and various other sites
- Interacting with customers to ensure the load is placed appropriately and good customer service is provided.
- Loading and securing loads to be delivered, keeping accurate and up-to-date log books and other records
- Maintaining and doing daily equipment checks
Qualifications:
- Class 3 Driver’s license with clean driver abstract a must
- Experience with tandem, tandem and triple axle, water trucks, loaders, tele-dynes, forklifts and other equipment would be an asset
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Dispatch, fellow drivers, Operations Manager and clients
- Must have good knowledge of Calgary and area street systems and be comfortable maneuvering large vehicles through tight residential areas

Salary: From $23.00 per hour
