Collection Supervisor - Third Party Collection Agency

Action Collections and Receivables Management – Saint Leonard, QC

Job Purpose:

To oversee the operations of the collection department, including but not limited to ensuring targets are set and hit, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations and corporate standards, policies and procedures.

Duties:

• Hiring, training and development of collection staff
• Assisting staff with the collection of their files
• Responsible for disciplinary actions and/or including terminations of employees
• Ensuring that internal company daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets are met
• Ensuring that client daily, weekly and monthly targets are met
• Ensuring that all staff is trained and adhering to all company policies and procedures along with the work plans and directives set by the clients themselves
• All staff is complaint in their collection efforts
• Coordinating with the CEO and Director of Operations to set the collection targets, based on client, company and collection staff ability.
• Coordinating with the Sales Manager to review any new polices set forth by the clients or any new client directives
• File Auditing, Collector Auditing and Call Monitoring
• Coordinating with HR Department regarding any issues, new hires, terminations, etc.
• Ensure that the daily, weekly and monthly targets are hit

Skills/Qualifications:

• Negotiating Skills, Customer Service, Product Knowledge, Multi-Tasking, Documentation Skills, Listening, Phone Skills, Resolving Conflict, Analyzing Information
• Time Management
• Third Party Collection Management experience is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year.
