WE ARE a large Vancouver-based real estate company with offices across BC. We are hiring a full-time Jr. Conveyancer to assist the current team in their day-to-day operations. This role requires a highly flexible, detail-oriented candidate who thrives in a busy team environment and can work with all types of people. Salary is based on experience in addition to a highly competitive benefits plan, offered by the company.

  • Position: Jr. Conveyancer
  • Reports to: Conveyance Manager
  • Work Hours: 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday (Full time)
  • Location: 1575, Marine Drive, West Vancouver, BC

PositionSummary:

Working under the general supervision of the Conveyance Manager and Regional Managing Broker, the employee will be expected to open deal files, receive and release trust funds, assist in the processing of deals, and agent payouts and run bank errands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and record sales contracts, transaction reports, and deposit cheques
  • Ability to handle a minimum of 50-100 conveyancing files per month
  • Arrange for term deposits, if required
  • Input transaction/listing information as required, working in SkySlope and LoneWolf
  • Review accuracy of commission calculations
  • Process sales information, completion letters, and other conveyance correspondence and send notification letters to lawyers, brokers, etc., prior to completion
  • Handle inquiries pertaining to sales transactions from brokers, agents, solicitors, etc.
  • Process project sales, and banking duties as required
  • File and scan documents for archive purposes as needed
  • Process deal completion and payouts for agents
  • Administrative duties for other offices including covering reception if needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 education; post-secondary degree, diploma, certificate considered an asset
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in real estate payouts . Familiarity with accounting or real estate software is considered an asset
  • Attention to detail and ability to work systematically to keep files and information up to date; ability to absorb information
  • Excellent time management, and ability to multi-task and prioritize based on deadlines. Flexibility to work with changing priorities under pressure
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Must always demonstrate and maintain a high standard of service and professionalism

Other duties:

  • Other office administrative job(s), as needed.
  • Assisting agents as required
