Career Opportunity

We are looking for a Customer Service Operations Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a solid work ethic, collaborative attitude, is extremely organized, enjoys routine, yet can switch gears at a moment’s notice. Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent and superior service to all internal and external customers
  • Handle all assigned tasks in an efficient and timely fashion
  • Handle customer inquiries/complaints in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner
  • Follow first call resolution objectives to ensure a superior customer experience
  • Provide customers with appropriate product information – price, inventory levels and product applications
  • Deal with escalated issues and look for solutions that are win-win for both the customer and the business
  • Support the strategic development of the department
  • Ensure individual and team goals are achieved or exceeded
  • Attend staff and educational meetings as required
  • Review deal sheets, monthly & sale day flyers to ensure up-to-date knowledge of products & procedures
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts and/or breaks to ensure MBS service levels are met or exceeded
  • Meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics
  • Produce reports and process contracts as required
  • Manage inboxes
  • Process orders
  • Manage sales trackers
  • Demonstrate our company culture and values
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications & Core Competencies

  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
  • 3 years+ of administration and call center experience preferred
  • Intermediate computer systems knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and data entry skills/able to multi-task in multiple screens simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills
  • Solid work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines & deliver sustainable results
  • Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable
  • Strong analytical, research, decision making and problem-solving abilities
  • Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and ability to quickly develop a rapport with internal and external customers
  • Industry experience preferred but not required
  • Bilingualism preferred but not required

Additional

Location: 3695 Barrington St., Halifax, NS B3K 2Y3. Hybrid eligible (remote & onsite shifts).

Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours), Permanent.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 830-5pm.
