Position Details:

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm
  • Additional hours on weekends may be a periodic requirement

Position Summary:

To assist with the implementation and daily functions of the Broiler Care customer service program at WFS.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Broiler Care Administration and Communication

- Data entry for flock results

- Work with Poultry Nutritionist to summarize and circulate results to Sales
Representatives

- Answer phone calls, check emails, monitor texts and follow up on requests
or transfer messages to the appropriate Broiler Care Coordinator

- Call customers and calculate Last Load deliveries

- Compile and distribute supplier reports as required

  • Oversee printing, checking and tagging of Broiler Care orders
  • Troubleshoot customer inquiries or concerns
  • Check new programs and distribute
  • File old programs
  • Assist with requesting prescriptions - as needed
  • Assist with processing prescriptions received for proper labelling requirements as needed
  • Work with transport staff as required to adjust deliveries or communicate with customers as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Backup Duties:

  • Broiler Care program creation – provide back up support as required
  • Bin Sentry checking and bin inventory assessments – provide assistance on Thursdays and Fridays and other back up support as required
  • Assist Customer Service Team with basic phone answering and order processing requests

WFS Organizational Responsibilities:

  • Meet regularly with direct supervisor
  • Cooperatively participate with co-workers informally and formally as required (on teams or committees)
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive organizational, staff and customer issues
  • Be familiar with and adhere to the policies, procedures and processes of WFS
  • Positively represent WFS to our customers and the community
  • Cooperate with other WFS departments to share information and make efficient use of resources
  • Participate as a member of the WFS staff team and attend company meetings as appropriate
  • Work in a safe manner at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

  • General Excel and Access knowledge
  • Solid understanding of various internal programs (WinPOPS, FeedTrack, Shell, Access) or ability to learn
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
