Lights, Cameras, Action! Our Digital Media & Retail Agents have the perfect mixture of creative flair and people skills. They capture and edit all of the photos and videos of our tours, for sale in our Retail River Shop. You may ask, ‘how do the guests look so good while getting pummelled in the face with water?’ It’s an art and our DMR Agents are the experts. For this position, you must like making people smile and have a love for the digital arts. The ability to sell lots of magnets is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Use of digital imaging equipment such as DSLR’s, GoPro’s and photo/video editing software (training provided)
• Produce high-quality digital media in a fast-paced environment
• Interact with guests and provide great customer service
• Handling cash, opening and closing of the River Shop
• Maintaining cleanliness of the river shop

Ideal Candidate would have or acquire:

• (2+ years) Customer service or guest-facing experience
• Experience working with DSLR cameras and GoPro’s
• Proficient in Lightroom and Final Cut Pro X
• Fluency in other languages is also an asset

If you do not have experience with digital imaging - that’s okay! We offer in-house training for interested applicants!

Most of our positions are seasonal, beginning in late April-May and finishing around Halloween. But our staff love it so much, they come back every summer!

Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours has been giving passengers a taste of adventure on the white water of the Niagara River since 1992. Passengers experience a thrilling and educational one-hour guided tour, where they can take in the awe-inspiring scenery of the Niagara Gorge, feel the rush of the Class 5 Devil’s Hole rapids and marvel at the power of the Niagara Whirlpool. The tour company’s fleet of custom-built jet boats depart from locations on the Canadian and American sides of the Niagara River, including Queenston, ON and Lewiston, NY.
