About the Opportunity
- Reporting to the CFO, Director/VP will manage the Finance group overseeing a growing team of 4 people.
- Manage and direct team priorities to ensure delivery of critical objectives while supporting the changing needs of the organization.
- Play a critical role in driving process improvements through improved process and/or automation
- Directing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions including but not limited to financial reporting, receivables, and payables.
- Manage annual audit and quarterly review process with external auditors
- Oversee annual tax compliance process with external tax advisors
- Assist in analyzing company's financial results with respect to profitability, trends, ratios and variance analysis.
- Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Protects assets and mitigates risk by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
- Works collaboratively with other departments to achieve company objectives
- Manage financial systems for the company (Quickbooks, commission software (Palette), options software (Computershare), data analytics tools (Datarails)
About You
- CPA, CA
- 7-10 plus years cumulative of financial and managerial accounting, and corporate controller experience in progressive leadership roles.
- Recent experience scaling a finance operation for a high growth company.
- Experience working in a growing entrepreneurial environment
- Strong excel skills
Salary Range
$150,000 - $170,000/year
