Dispatcher Job at Confidential Privately-Held Company
We are a busy portable toilet and disposal bin company searching for a dispatcher for our Fort McMurray operation. As a dispatcher, you are responsible for taking customer calls, booking jobs, providing quotes, and providing customer service. You will be reviewing completed work orders from drivers, and scheduling routes. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a fast-paced environment and will be detail-oriented and comfortable working under tight deadlines. You will be working a 7 days on, 7 days off shift.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to all rental/service inquiries by phone and email
- Quote jobs
- Schedule routes and jobs
- Work with safety department to coordinate vehicle and personnel access passes
- Work with safety to relay site specific requirements to the drivers
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings in the morning
- Review incoming purchase orders from customers
- Review prior days field tickets and routes for completion
- Work with billing team to relay important information for invoicing, and damages to rental units.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Reliable and punctual
- Understanding for the importance of customer service
- Must be able to work 7 days on, and then have 7 days off.
- Experience with Excel and Outlook
- Ability to learn quickly
- Have 2 years of experience
