The Role

PepsiCo Foods Canada has full-time openings in the Frito Lay Distribution Center for a LASR Driver. Flexibility in scheduling is a key requirement for this position. Under supervision, performs warehouse duties involved in preparing daily route trucks with accurate product selection following pre-printed pick sheets. Ability to deliver business results by meeting and exceeding target goals. Sort, tie and stack cardboard, as well as conduct physical inventories as required. Deployed on a day-to-day, routine basis against all facets of warehouse operations; in addition, incumbents must demonstrate high levels of performance against these tasks.

What you’ll be working on:

• Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to ensure proper and safe handling conditions* Safely transporting product to and from a specified location, in a pre-determined sequence* Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery* Loading and unloading product to and from box trucks* Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs, Signature of Receipts, etc.)* Verifying and retrieving all carton returns, product returns, and other return items* Interacting with customers, sales team, and warehouse personnel on a daily basis* Complying with all DOT and NSC regulations*

Who’s a good fit for the team:

• Valid G Class Drivers License
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Experience with a 5-ton vehicle considered an asset
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to complete routes safely in all weather conditions
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations
