Career Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Team Leader for our Distributor Sales Consultant (DSC) team. As the leader, you will be responsible for guiding and developing an assigned DSC team, increasing sales and profitability of your team's brand portfolio in assigned territories. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, team-oriented mentality, exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the performance and operations of the DSC team, providing feedback, coaching, mentoring, and setting goals
  • Driving department growth by implementing sales programs and targets aligned with company goals
  • Create and foster a respectful and supportive team environment
  • Developing and executing a territory plan, customer plans, and selling products and education to assigned accounts
  • Promoting and selling company sales programs and promotions to achieve sales goals
  • Planning and conducting in-salon merchandising, brand image building, business consulting, experience workshops, and product demos to establish strong customer relationships and drive sales growth
  • Acquiring new accounts and developing key accounts
  • Consistently meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and objectives such as total territory sales, key brand sales, key product promotions, and educational programs and shows
  • Managing and implementing Loyalty Programs for key accounts
  • Preparing sales plans and reports as needed
  • Demonstrate our company culture and values
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications & Core Competencies

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification. Post-secondary education with a focus in Business Administration or relevant field a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in customer service, outside sales, or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience
  • Desire to continuously learn, develop and educate team members to reach departmental goals
  • Solid knowledge and experience using various social media platforms for business purposes
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic thinking and goal attainment through effective problem-solving, decision-making and planning skills.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough analysis and research to support informed decision-making.
  • Possess strong leadership skills to motivate and positively influence others
  • Demonstrated professionalism with excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time & project efficiently
  • Solid work ethic and ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate computer systems knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Must live within the assigned territory and have reliable transportation as travel is required
  • Attendance at educational events and shows is required which may include overnight/weekend travel
  • Flexibility with adjusting schedule to meet changing business needs
  • Hair, Esthetic, or other industry license an asset
  • Bilingual preferred (English & French)

Additional

Location: Moncton based preferred.

Job Type: Full Time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent.

Schedule: Monday to Friday. Must be available to work weekends as needed.
