Brookeside Education is recruiting experienced English teachers to teach English online. Students are typically ages 6-12.
Most students are in China and will require classes in the morning or evening China time. (Morning and evening in Canada). Please consider if you will be available at these times, since there will be likely no daytime hours. Flexible availability is important. Weekend availability is also highly important.
Requirements:
Over 1 year of teaching experience (especially to children)
TESOL/TEFL and/or bachelor’s degree
friendly and energetic
Good with technology (such as zoom, wechat, WhatsApp, and ClassIn)
Reliable
Have a computer and reliable internet (internet test to be done over zoom)
Long term availability 1+ year
Teachers may choose their own schedule, but must keep a regular schedule and be available at least 5 hours per week. It may take time to build up a full schedule and hours are not guaranteed.
Payment is $24 Canadian per hour. Classes are paid monthly.
A successful criminal record check will be required before being officially onboarded.
