ShipX Courier Inc. is seeking self-employed delivery drivers to join our team and deliver packages in the Downtown. We are looking for new team players that can learn fast and work efficiently.

Job description

• You are required to inspect, scan, and load your route into your vehicle in a timely manner.
• Also, deliver the packages to customers as per company’s standards within a set time limit.
• Daily work hours depend on multiple factors including size of route, area, and weather conditions.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license (Full G license required) and good driving record (without major tickets).
• Vehicle insurance and registration
• A smartphone with a sufficient data plan
• Having access to a reliable white, black, or gray minivan or cargo van is the major asset: You can use a white, black, or gray mini-/cargo van after they are decaled with the company logos. And you can even get paid if your vehicle is less than 5 years old.
• Or a company van can be provided with a daily rental fee

Abilities

• Must be punctual and responsible
• Must be able to handle packages that are 40 lbs. and above
• Must be able to complete a route with 130-150 stops each day of work (approximately 180-250 packages)
• Must be comfortable with working in all weather conditions
• Delivery experience is another MAJOR ASSET, but not required
• All Criminal background checks are paid for by the company
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

Additional details to consider:

• This position is an independent contractor position so you will be self-employed.
• We pay weekly and your weekly payout depends on the number of parcels you deliver each week.
• Drivers’ schedules are made weekly based on their availability.
