Responsibilities:
- Create standard operating procedures for facilities and provide training.
- Oversee the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs for the facility.
- Supervise contractors and negotiate rates and contracts as needed.
- Manage short and long-term maintenance upgrades and repairs, including budget requirements.
- Collaborate with senior managers on long-term strategic plans.
- Inspecting buildings for needed repairs and renovations
- Planning and coordinating installations, upgrades, and refurbishments
- Reviewing utility consumption to reduce costs
- Operating refrigeration and other building systems
- Maintaining site SILO systems
Requirements:
- A post-secondary degree or equivalent in facilities management or a related field.
- Trade certification in Electrical or Refrigeration
- At least 5 years of experience managing a medium to large-sized facility.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance/management.
