Job Overview: The successful applicant will act as a field service technician for the proper installation and service of Penta Supplied products, including but not limited to Sucker Rod artificial lift systems and automation equipment. As well as completing all other aspects of service work that Penta provides for our customers. The position will be based out of our Estevan operations office and will require travel throughout Saskatchewan.

Main Responsibilities:

- Providing field installation services of all Penta supplied oil field products.

- Assisting in rod pump system workovers

- Providing product inspection and analysis

- Assisting with product assembly and preparation prior to shipping

- Installation of automation equipment

- Dynamometer and Fluid Level data gathering

- Maintaining an effective and constructive work atmosphere in the office and the field

Job Specifications – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of…

- Rod Pumping System components

- Service Rig Components and common practices

- Basic controller components

- Dynamometer and Fluid Level Data Gathering

Ability to…

- Be positive, persuasive, persistent, mature and responsible

- Work well under pressure and be adaptable and tactful when dealing with different groups of people

- Provide technical support to customers by troubleshooting, inspection/repair, minor design changes and modifications to rod lift systems

- Ensure safety always remains the top priority of any task

- Microsoft Word and Excel

Education/Experience:

- Minimum 2 years field experience in workover/completions

- High School Diploma

- Must have a valid driver’s license

- Safety Tickets considered an asset: H2S, First Aid, CSO, TDG, WHIMIS, etc.

- Service Rig experience desirable

- Pump Shop experience desirable
