ABOUT INFINITY EXPERIENCES

Born from the collaboration between PHI Studio and Felix & Paul Studios, Infinity Experiences is mandated to produce and distribute large-scale collective and immersive installations.

Its first production, THE INFINITE, is the largest virtual reality installation ever produced in the world and is based on films produced by Felix & Paul Studios in collaboration with TIME Studios and NASA. THE INFINITE allows visitors to visit the International Space Station and live an exceptional experience in space.

A 2020 version of THE INFINITE is currently touring in North America, a second version is in production for operations beginning in 2023, and additional installations will be added to the North American and international markets in the coming months and years.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Financial Analyst supports the company in all stages of its development and operations. He/she/they will analyse business opportunities in collaboration with the producer and the director of operations and management. He/she/they will oversee the preparation of monthly management charts, the annual budget, and reports to the Board of Directors and financial partners. This person will ensure the financial information's reliability and the accounting processes' efficiency. This person will also participate in funding and grant applications.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare business cases and financial models for projects;
  • Produce various financial reports required by management, shareholders and partners from accounting data, ticketing system and third party information;
  • Ensure alignment of accounting and financial information with the needs of management;
  • Analyse monthly financial information and provide recommendations to management;
  • Identify the fiscal framework for each project and obtain local permits;
  • Establish annual budgets and monthly planning;
  • Participate in grant applications and set up required funding;
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end audit files.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • + 3 years experience in a similar position;
  • University degree in accounting/finance;
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis in a complex environment;
  • Excellent command of French, both oral and written;
  • Good knowledge of English, both oral and written;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, in particular Excel, and Google;
  • Demonstrate autonomy, versatility and responsibility;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Good team spirit, adaptability and interpersonal skills;
  • Knowledge of the entertainment and/or cultural sector (asset).
