We are currently looking for a Branch Manager to join our team. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of the branch by working to meet financial and developmental objectives related to the growth and retention of the branch's personal and business portfolio. You'll be accountable for ensuring that objectives related to customer service, human resource management, and operational effectiveness are met, and the branch delivers a superior customer experience. You possess the skills to keep your team engaged, capable, and provide guidance to team members in a consistent manner.


Some of your key responsibilities include:


  • Lead and support your team to build and strengthen both existing and new customer relationships by providing financial advice to customers
  • Continuously develop your team's skills and knowledge through focused coaching to ensure the provision of excellent customer service
  • Protect the bank, the customer, and shareholder interest by managing and minimizing the bank's exposure to risk by ensuring compliance with regulatory activities and guidelines
  • Ensure the achievement of branch objectives through the negotiation, establishment, and monitoring of goals
  • Oversee the implementation of established bank policies, practices, special initiatives, and procedures

Requirements


  • Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • License to sell Mutual Funds
  • Willing to obtain a Personal Financial Planning designation
  • Experience in both personal and small business banking
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent coaching skills with experience mentoring and developing a team of employees and assisting them with their career development
  • Able to effectively assess local market conditions
  • Able to source and obtain new business through relationship building
  • Goal-driven, eager to continuously learn
