So, What Is a Floating Dispense Coach?

As our very first Floating Dispense Coach, you will support 18 clinics in Southern Alberta when they faced with staffing shortages. Your role will be to travel to these designated clinics, working directly with the team and optometrists to continue to deliver excellent patient experience.

When not covering staffing shortages, you will be utilized in a training capacity to educate and elevate our current dispensing teams. A love for education, personal growth and dedication to excellence will be an asset for this extraordinarily rare opportunity.

As the first ever floating dispense coach, you would be instrumental in the roll out of this new initiative, with anticipation of turning this into a permanent position and launching similar positions across Canada.

This opportunity is a Full-Time, 1 year contract position travelling to all FYi locations within a 50km radius of Calgary with occasional travel to Banff, Canmore, Brooks, Carstairs and Lacombe

What Will You Be Doing?

• Providing excellent patient care and customer service that is positive and upbeat
• Assisting our customers with eyewear and lens selection, and contact lens orders
• Performing frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear and performing repairs and adjustments to returning patients
• Explaining the benefits and advantages of our lenses based on the patient's lifestyle and needs
• Driving to clinics that are experiencing staffing shortages to provide dispensing relief
• Adapting to each clinics unique processes and procedures to deliver consistent patient care
• Ability to integrate yourself into each clinic team to achieve budget and KPIs

What Do You Bring?

• Flexibility and a willingness to change your scheduled hours or work location on short notice
• Minimum two-year dispensing experience preferred
• High level of comfort and knowledge with Acuitas and Optikam
• A current drivers license with a reliable vehicle
• A professional and approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with people
• Self-motivated with a drive to grow and learn
• Embodies a coaching culture and is comfortable to provide feedback
