NASS is currently hiring General helper for a Automotive parts company in Brampton.
Job Title: General Helper / General labour
Location : Brampton
Pay ; $19- $20 per hour
Job Type: Full time
Shifts Available: Morning Shift ( 7 am to 03.30 pm)
Job Duties:
- Perform general plant duties, including supporting toolmakers, machine fitters, drillers, sawing and paintings
- Operate multiple machines, tools and equipment
- Communicate necessary information to Supervisor and co-workers from shift to shift
- Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner and know how to properly lock out all energy sources, including stored energy
- Follow all safety rules, standards and procedures at all times in all areas
- Report all unusual circumstances and actively participate in and support Continuous Improvements
- Responsible to keep machine shop in a state of cleanliness
- Ensure the quality to maintain world class quality products are supplied to our customers
Job Requirement:
- Candidates must have at least 2 years of work experience in Automotive manufacturing environment
- Must have G license
- Previous tooling/machine shop experience an asset
- Basic knowledge of tooling, as well as blueprint reading and mathematical skills
- Must have high school diploma
- Able to lift 40-50 LBS
- Punctuality is a must on the job
- English communication skills. (Written and verbal)
