The Job

We are looking for an enthusiastic Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist. A rockstar who can help the brokerage and its agent achieve business goals. You will head and direct the creative and marketing services of the brokerage. You will play a vital role in the success of each business transaction of the agents and of the brokerage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Head the creative and marketing services of the brokerage
  • Design marketing and communication materials for both printed and digital platform
  • Develop branding/visual identity for agents (when needed)
  • Design layouts (digital and/or printed) for brochures, flyers, door hangers, posters, business cards, postcards, advertisements, feature sheets, newsletters, social media content, etc.
  • Draft mockups for different creative and marketing materials
  • Manage the application of Forest Hill branding/visual identity
  • Conduct photo enhancement and post-processing (when needed)
  • Work one-on-one with an agent (when needed) for producing/developing sales and marketing material
  • Update and manage the website through Content Management System
  • Manage the in-house printing service of the brokerage
  • Manage Social Media Accounts (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn)
  • Research on latest design trends, latest real estate news and statistics (for social media content) and other insights that will be helpful for the brokerage
  • Additional minor tasks: facilitate courier service order for important articles (e.g. cheques, documents, etc); receive and record cheques; ensuring office cleanliness and orderliness
  • Other tasks as requested

Skills

  • Adobe Creative Suites in MacOs (Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Pre-press Knowledge and Basic Print Technology and Knowledge (ability to understand printing concepts, standards, and terminologies and to speak with professional printers)
  • Content Management System
  • Adobe Premiere and/or other Video Editing Software is a plus
  • Streamyard is a plus
  • Possess knowledge in Typography Convention and Design Principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to change
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong attention to details
  • Collaborative attitude

Qualifications

  • At least 3-year professional experience as a graphic designer
  • Possess a certificate, diploma, or degree in Graphic Design / Communication Design / Visual Communication / Marketing or equivalent
  • A combination of experience and education will be considered
  • Real Estate experience is a plus

Salary

  • $50,000 per year plus bonuses
