Here is an exciting opportunity to join a growing leader in Midstream Infrastructure services & Environmental Solutions in our Metals Facility in Red Deer as an Heavy Duty - Parts Specialist. You will be overseeing yard equipment, fleet management, and contractor management.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage/control all equipment and vehicle fleet throughout the Metals division in Western Canada
  • Assist management with equipment budgets and potential equipment purchases
  • Maintain communications with equipment dealers and vendors
  • Investigate the cause/extent of damage when assets are involved in accidents
  • Maintain equipment inventory list
  • Create/coordinate maintenance procedures
  • Organize routine maintenance work
  • Arrange procurement of parts or components
  • Deal with emergencies and repairs
  • Request/collect information in regard to equipment utilization
  • Coordinate equipment purchases/rentals

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Logistics (fleet management) experience is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
  • Ideally you are an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic with management experience
