Full Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified Hoist Elevator Operator. The successful candidate can operate an electrically powered hoist in a construction shaft; perform routine manual tasks operating an electrically powered hoist, lowering, and raising people, equipment, and material used in the construction of buildings.
Key responsibilities
· Lowering/Raising people, equipment, and material
· Ensure all safety requirements are followed during each lift
· Inspect equipment/environment before each shift to ensure good working order
Qualifications and Abilities:
· Hoist Elevator Operator ticket (training available if required)
· Fall Awareness certification (training available if required)
· WHIMIS (training available if required)
· A cell phone with an active data plan
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally
· Ability to deal with others effectively
· Have PPE (steel toe boots, hard hat, high visibility vest, eye protection)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30.00 per hour
