Furniture Connection is a Furniture Rental & Home Staging Company, servicing Western Canada. With the opening of a new warehouse in Burnaby, BC, we are looking to add to our growing team.

Furniture Connection is hiring for a Home Staging & Admin Support position. We are looking for someone to assist in the set-up of the warehouse, purchasing of furniture & décor, perform home staging services and help with admin and business development.

We are looking for someone with previous design/home staging experience who has a passion for the industry and envisions themselves with a company they can potentially grow with!

This will be a full time position. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Full benefits and potential to earn bonuses after completion of 3 month probation period. Company vehicle available most of the time but mileage is paid for personal vehicle use when applicable.

Responsibilities

· Planning of staging projects, including the initial consultations, preparation of quotes and any follow ups.

· Selecting furniture and accessories as per project quote.

· Packing the accessories into bins for transport for both stage and de-stage of properties.

· Staging the property within the design parameters of Furniture Connection's guidelines.

· Assisting with inventory purchases including furniture, artwork, décor and more.

· Admin support – taking calls, booking deliveries & pick-ups, invoicing, creating pack lists, quoting, responding to emails, general cleaning/organization of warehouse & assets.

· Assisting with marketing strategies and business development

· Must be comfortable with possible travel to Calgary for training and/or occasional jobs, if required.

Requirements

· Must have Interior Decorating/Design/Staging background or experience

· Portfolio of previous projects

· Administrative experience an asset

· Occasional weekend availability an asset

· References

· Own vehicle
