Adult male with a physical disability is looking for an energetic and friendly personal care attendant to work out of my home in Tsawwassen. The position is permanent part time, 3 hours per day, 9:00am to 12:00pm, Monday to Friday. The starting wage is $25/hr. I am looking for someone who can do some, or all days (Monday to Friday). If needed I will split the days between two people so that each person does 2-3 days each per week.
You will be assisting with my daily morning routine plus light housework, meal preparation and exercising/stretching. You are friendly and easy going as you will be working within our home and around our family.
Duties include:
* Personal hygiene care
* Assisted transfers into wheelchair
* Driving to appointments
* Basic stretching and exercise
* Minimal meal prep (simple breakfast and snacks)
* Light housekeeping
The ideal candidate will be:
* Comfortable with personal care needs
* Able to follow a personal care plan
* Able to drive to appointments and outings
* Flexible, reliable, healthy and easy going
* Motivated and take initiative
* Have a fun and friendly attitude!
* Fluent in English
