• The Doorman will take pride in providing a warm welcome to hotel guests alongside assisting them as desired.

• Maintain a professional presence in the hotel to ensure daily activities and events are executed with ease.

• The Doorman will be responsible for welcoming guests to the hotel in a warm manner and assisting them as desired. Provide a presence in the building to ensure that daily activities and events are executed with ease.

• To establish and maintain harmonious relationships with hotel staff, valet attendants and hotel guests

• Promote the culture where the hotel reputation is maintained to a high standard; parallel to the hotel brand values.

• Maintain team and customer relationships through advice, support and continuous improvement; providing spectacular guest experiences the first time and every time.

• Manage all guests requests and complaints in a courteous and prompt manner, taking the necessary action steps and ensuring follow-up where required.

• Demonstrate great initiative with an agile approach to all tasks assigned.

Essential experience

• Doormen must maintain a clean-cut, presentable appearance.

• Strong leadership skills; Team-players who take direction well and show initiative are best suited for this kind of work.

• Experience within the hospitality industry or as a doorman.
