We're currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our team. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper. The Houseman will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and operations of our hotel, ensuring that all guests have a clean, well-maintained, and comfortable stay.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all hotel areas, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and guest rooms.
• Assist housekeeping staff with heavy lifting and moving of furniture or supplies when necessary.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, etc.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in compliance with hotel and city policies.
• Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces or meeting rooms.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel areas to identify areas needing attention.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service to guests.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel or related establishment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks is an advantage.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
