FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum completion of post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources Management.
· Minimum of 5 years related Human Resources experience.
· Working towards C.H.R.P. designation.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manages all staffing activities including the preparation of job postings, maintenance of requisitions, conducting internal and external searches, interviewing candidates, making hiring recommendations to Managers, providing feedback to candidates, and preparation of all contracts and related paperwork.
· Assists with the development of HR related training and development programs and conducts training/presentations.
· Liaises with the EHS Representative on Health and Safety program activities relative to the client group, ensuring awareness and involvement in disability claim (WSIB/WI) and return to work program effectiveness.
· Advises and assists Managers/Employees with work/non-work related issues and the interpretation and administration of company policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent treatment company wide.
· Participates in the development and continual updating of company policies, programs and the Employee Handbook in accordance with legislated requirements.
· Ensures the effective implementation of company employee orientation programs.
· Coordinates the Hotline procedure, including Hotline administration and investigation.
· Prepares month-end charts and reports for QOS measurables (as assigned) in a timely manner.
· Oversees training, benefits, and HRIS administration ensuring excellent customer service and accuracy..
· Accountable to ensure zero non-conformance on all periodic TS 16949 and ISO 14001 audits.
· Coordinates annual performance/development/wage review process ensuring completion on time.
· Monitors new and revised legislation and ensures compliance to legislated requirements in the area of Human Resources.
· Maintains strict confidentiality of all information obtained, written or verbal, within the Human Resources Department.
· Maintains a professional customer service oriented manner within the company and supports the corporate image as per Human Resources departmental objectives and company policies.
· Correct unsafe acts or conditions, ensuring all health and safety policies are followed.
· Be involved in the accident/incident program within own department.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
