The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integration Architect to provide value to our organization design and implementation of our company's integration architecture, ensuring the seamless exchange of data between our various systems and platforms. This individual will also play a key role in shaping the overall technical strategy and direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the integration architecture, including integration patterns, standards and governance using agile methodology.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Business Analysts to understand integration requirements, identify risks, and develop a strategy to meet those needs.
• Design, build and implement integration solutions using a variety of technologies, including but not limited to EAI, ETL/ELT, CI/CDC, B2B EDI, REST APIs, messaging systems and enterprise service buses.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of the integration architecture.
• Develop and maintain integration documentation, including design specifications, best practices, and support procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest integration technologies and trends, and continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies.
• Lead and mentor other Data Engineers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
• Document the integration architecture and environment to maintain a current and accurate view of the Enterprise Integrations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in integration architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing successful integration solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of integration technologies and patterns, including REST APIs, messaging systems, B2B EDI, and enterprise service buses.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, Microsoft Synapse, Google Cloud BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Databricks Lakehouse etc.).
• Understanding and knowledge of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes and/or Data Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience working on enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools, data mapping tools, and data profiling tools.
• Understanding and knowledge of an Enterprise Service Bus and Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Understanding and knowledge of API Management
• Understanding and knowledge of Data Governance including Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Privacy & Security, Metadata Management, etc.
• Strong understanding of security and privacy best practices, and experience securing integrations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically, identify business and technical risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java or Python.
