Job Duties
Reporting to the Director of International Enrollment, the International Operations Coordinator plays a central role in providing operational support to multiple International Education areas. Primarily, the position will serve 4 main functions:
- Prospective and current international student support – This position will play a lead role in triaging inquiries from prospective and current international students through a variety of methods – phone, email, appointment booking, social media and client relationship management software
- Finance, budget and purchasing – Act as lead resource for departmental purchasing, processing and reconciling overseas contractor and agent accounts, coordinate and pay invoices.
- Logistics and management support – coordinate all travel for the department, including overseas travel and process expense claims; support event coordination for both prospective and current international students, and when required for students going abroad on Saskatchewan Polytechnic approved Global Learning Experiences.
- File management – take the lead role organizing office files, appointment booking and supporting the department as directed by Manager(s) and director.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
1. Recognized Business Administration/Accounting certificate or Office Administration certificate or an equivalent combination of recent relevant training and experience.
2. Two years recent and relevant experience.
3. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and databases.
4. Knowledge of Saskatchewan’s post-secondary, secondary and adult education systems.
5. Ability to understand, interpret, and apply regulations, principles, practices, policies, and procedures
6. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
7. Ability to work within a diverse work groups and structures with the capability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment in order to establish, build and maintain positive working relationships while ensuring that deadlines, goals and objectives are met.
8. Effective interpersonal skills
9. Effective Communication skills
10. Demonstrates valuing diversity
