Journeyman Service Electrician Job at Current Group
Current Group is looking for a Journeyman Electrician with rural service and construction project experience to join our team. Pay rate will be based on experience. Applicants must have a reliable means of transportation to be available for work daily at our office located in Linden, Alberta.
Qualifications:
· Motor control troubleshooting and installation experience necessary
· Experience in design-build projects (eg. Small-medium projects without detailed blueprints/schematics)
· Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills needed
· Wide range of experience with residential, commercial and agricultural service and installation
· Ability to problem solve independently
· Ability to work independently or on a team
· Ability to work in a safe manner, observing all Health & Safety policies and procedures
· Ability to communicate well with co-workers and customers
· Conscientious, with a keen attention to detail
· Ability to work after hours/weekends (occasional on-call service work)
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
· Ability to work at heights
· Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment
· An understanding of safe work practices and the ability to safely operate tools of the trade
