Jardeg is currently recruiting for Journeyperson / Apprentice Carpenters at the K+S Bethune project.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build form work for concrete gradebeams and walls
- Assist with pouring concrete slabs, gradebeams and walls
- Assist with general layout
- Measure, mark, cut, shape and join various construction materials
- Working with various power tools
- Check accuracy of work and make adjustments as required
- Study blueprints for work planning
- Follow all site safety procedures and policies
- Follow directions given by Foreman and Superintendent
Education/Experience:
- 3rd or 4th year apprentice carpenter
- Journeyperson status OR registered apprentice OR an equivalent combination of experience, training and education
- CSTS/SCOT
- WHMIS
- Fall Protection
- AWP
- Confined Space
- Industrial experience an asset
- Concrete experience necessary
