Job Type: Full-Time

Position: Jr Security Systems Installer, Infrastructure & Technical Services

Location: Victoria, BC.

Salary Range: $61,500 - $78,300

Duties & Responsibilities (will be trained):

• First line investigation, troubleshooting and resolving incidents, problems and updating tickets appropriately within defined service level agreements (SLA)
• Analyze and resolve incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime to all clients while coordinating and communicating with impacted stakeholders
• Installing new software releases, evaluating and installing patches
• Manage installs, configuration and monitoring of servers
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather and validate support requirements
• Support company users with installed applications and shares
• Deploying servers and it's required services
• Perform daily system monitoring, including verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes; reviewing system and application logs; and verifying completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups

Skills & Qualifications (a plus but not required):

• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting a wide range of desktop hardware and software
• Ability to diagnose problems, perform repairs on IT assets, and provide support for a wide range of applications
• Excellent written, oral, and telephone communication skills
• Knowledge of computer workstation setup
• Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
