Required experience:
We are hiring multiple roles and levels and will match candidates with the right role based upon your skills and experience. The qualifications for a services software developer include the following.

• Knowledge of full stack application architectures, including front-end, back-end, database, integration/middleware, security, etc.

• Front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• 3+ years of JavaScript ES6/ES7 programming experience

• Self-starter with ability and eagerness to independently learn new things

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Ability for some business travel.

Preferred Experience and Requirements:

• End-to-end business application architecture and design

• Devops and SDLC process and tools

• Networking and security implementation

• Cloud technologies such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS

• Software QA and test process and tools

• Business and technical requirements analysis

• Consulting or contract services experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience and training

Your responsibilities may include: The services software developer will often work on teams delivering application developer or code transformation services. You may be an individual contributor or serve as the technical leader to oversee the work of other developers.

• Analyzing customer requirements

• Working with a project manager to define project scope and plans

• Support project estimating

• Transforming and modernizing business applications

• Testing to ensure end-to-end quality

• Delivering projects that meet scope, schedule, and budget expectations

• Delivering customer training and documentation

Additional Responsibilities:

• Run or review the output of code conversion tools
• Write converter tool exceptions for manual code changes
• Debug conversion errors (compare RPG vs. JavaScript Functionality)
• Write unit tests for failures to replicate issue and test resolution
• Re-test after framework or converter changes
• Re-write code that cannot be converted (using low code tools to extent possible)
• Develop and record test scripts, in conjunction with BA/QA lead
• Conduct functional and regression testing, in conjunction with BA/QA lead
• IF capable – propose changes to PJS framework or converter tools to improve automation
• IF capable – propose new tools or automation to replace manual conversion steps
