Essential Qualifications:

• Eligible for registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Recently applied knowledge of nursing theory, practices & techniques
• Experience gained in a long term care environment would be an asset

We believe that nurses play a critical role in our health care system, and we offer a signing bonus of* $4500 for Licensed Practical Nurses. We also offer reimbursement of exam fees for new nursing graduates and yearly reimbursement for licencing fees.

Conditions of Employment: TB screening, Vulnerable Sector RCMP security clearance, CPR Level HCP (facilities), CPR Level C (Home Care), Food Safe (completed within the last 2 years), WHIMIS 2015, and Yukon LPN registration with Medication Administration upon hire. A valid class 5 driving licence is required for Home Care.

Job Requirements: Shift work, exposure to plants and/or flowers and/or second-hand smoke when supervising residents/clients, exposure to animals, heavy lifting 50lbs and over, bending, and exposure to latex products.
