Lift Truck Operator

Closest Intersection Lift Truck Operator:

• Arvin Avenue, Stoney Creek, ON

Shift Time for Lift Truck Operator:

• Rotating, after training (on day shift)
• Days: 6 am-3 pm
• Cross over shift: 9 am-6 pm
• Afternoon: 3 pm-11 pm

Responsibilities for Lift Truck Operator:

• Daily complete safety check of forklift and report any damage to equipment or needed repairs to supervisor
• Ability to work multiple shifts and shift rotation as per requirements
• Organized, able to read and follow the production schedule
• Move product, racks and bins to and from the production lines or rework area as required
• Ensure product is continually available for production, removed from production area when packed and loaded on trucks or stored as per Quality requirements
• Operate forklift in a safe and responsible manner at all times
• Keep plant, yard and dock area clean and organized at all times
• Comply with company safety rules at all times and report all accidents, incidents and hazards immediately.
• Participate in corrective/preventative action when required.
• Practice continuous improvement; identifying process or procedural changes that will result in better company performance.
• Adhere to all procedures and policies as outlined in the quality system.
• Other duties assigned from time to time by supervisor which could include but not limited to clean up, sweeping up, loading/unloading areas, making boxes, relief operator

Requirements for Lift Truck Operator:

• Must have forklift certification
• Must be able to provide double vaccination verification
• Must adhere to covid protocols
• Steel toe footwear required

Pay Rate for Lift Truck Operator:

• $18.50 per hour
• Paid weekly, every Friday
