Meadow Lake Coop is hiring 2 Part-time Liquor Store Associate at our Liquor Store in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:

Working closely with the Liquor Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • To ensure high level of customer service is provided at all times;
  • To be professional, friendly and courteous in the work environment;
  • To ensure adherence to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, and housekeeping standards;
  • To adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op Policies & Procedures and the asset protection program;
  • To adhere to Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) operating guidelines;
  • To participate in all OH&S requirements, and be knowledgeable about the compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislation;
  • Bag purchases for customers at the till or for delivery;
  • Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their source;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are passionate about a career in the Liquor/Retail industry and:

  • You have previous retail experience;
  • Experience with wine, spirits and beer in a retail setting is not compulsory but is an asset;
  • Applicants must be willing to take SIRS Certification. It will be paid for by the Co-op;
  • Applicants must be available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. You must be flexible;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong work ethic and positive team player attitude;
  • Applicants must be at least 19 years of age;
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted;
  • Criminal records check may be conducted.
