Full Time Superintendent Employment Opportunity

Family Action Network Housing Corp. is seeking to hire a Live-in Full Time Superintendent/Superintendent Couple to handle day to day duties, cleaning and grounds keeping of the facility.

KEY DUTIES

· Provide day-to-day maintenance, cleaning and grounds keeping duties, making sure all common areas, including outside courtyard, rooftop terrace, and underground garage are properly maintained.

· Live on-site; on call duties Monday-Friday, respond to emergencies and monitor the emergency phone when on call. Call police, fire or ambulance if required. Emergencies such as fires, flooding, and any serious incidents must be responded to within 20 minutes.

· Respond to and communicate with residents in a professional manner.

· Daily equipment and property inspections including fire safety related inspections and tests.

· Inventory control of equipment/material and ordering.

· Ensuring garbage and recycling pick up per schedule. Ability to drive a tractor and move garbage bins safely as per procedure.

· Attend meetings and training sessions related to the Workplace Health and Safety. Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

· Handle all turn over apartments in coordination with management.

· Assist contractors, providing access.

· Performing any other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

· 3 Years of experience as a full-time superintendent

· Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills

· Pleasant and professional demeanor

· Organized, detail oriented, reliable, and responsible

Regular Hours of Work 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

On Call Hours After 5:00 pm to 8:00 am five days per week, must respond to calls and attend when necessary

Compensation Competitive salary plus a 50% rent reduction of a Two Bedroom Townhouse Unit
