Maintenance Worker
Loveday Mushroom Farms is an advocate of good agricultural practices that ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. We were the first mushroom grower in Canada to be HACCP-certified and we maintain food safety certification through the Guelph Food Technology Centre.
Dedicated to quality and the satisfaction of our customers; each employee will perform duties in accordance with industry specific regulations, Global Food Safety Initiative Standards, HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), SOP’s, quality standards, performance expectations and workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Mechanical skill set, able to work with heavy equipment
- Ability to perform minor repairs on specialized heavy mushroom equipment; plumbing; electrical repairs & general building maintenance.
- Elementary computer skills are required to enter work orders, repairs & preventative maintenance into LimbelCCMS software
- Ability to learn and follow company safety policies and procedures
- Must Have problem-solving skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- Farm background/working with compost would be an asset
- Must have Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Other duties assigned
