We are currently seeking energetic and motivated students to join our team as FULL TIME
Student Marina Attendants for the 2023 summer season, from the 1st of June until Early-Late
September. As a Marina Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer experience for our guests and members – while insuring a safe and enjoyable environment at the marina.
In addition to the daily operations of the marina,The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have a positive attitude, execute event planning, bartending and Marina Operations. We are looking to fill this position based on those specialties, please indicate area of experience in your application!
Responsibilities:
- Assisting guests with dockage, pumping fuel, and sewage removal from boats
- Maintaining a clean, organized and inviting marina environment
- Stocking/ rotating product
- Assisting with different events and campaigns to engage members, tourists, and the boating community.
- Yard maintenance (cleaning/ removing garbage from grounds, ect)
- Able to operate a lawn tractor
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Serving and bartending experience
Requirements:
- Candidate must be at least 19 years of age
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution for September 2023
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Event organizing
