Material Handler Job at Global Human Resource Centre
We are hiring Material Handlers on behalf of our client in Cobourg. This position is full-time with day/afternoon shifts and may become permanent for the right candidates.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clear staging area and pull shipping loads
- Inspect shipments
- Monitor production schedule for inventory requirements
- Load/unload trucks and verify packing slips
- Ensure all finished goods going to customers are in good order
- Generate computerized bills of lading
- Store inventory in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and dock area
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Good computer skills (MS office and database programs)
- Able to use various hand and electrical tools and equipment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to sit and stand for extended periods
- Able to perform awkward and/or repetitive movements
- Able to work in fluctuating temperatures
SHIFT: Day and afternoon shifts with weekend flexibility (no overnights)
