Material Handler

We are hiring a warehouse worker for one of our clients in Sudbury. Company is a leading distributor of Pipe, Valves & Fittings (PVF), Waterworks & Fire Protection products in Canada. Keys Tasks and Responsibilities

· Locate and pick product and materials as per customer order requirements, use computer

information or paper documentation to build order to completion, tag/label and prepare order

for shipment, ensure all documentation relating to customer order is complete and filed

· Follow daily delivery schedule to ensure orders are picked and completed on time and in

proper sequencing for efficient loading

· Load trucks, load in proper sequence for efficient delivery, ensure all product/material loaded

is secure and safe prior to vehicle movement

· Unload trucks, ensure correct documentation is received and completed, receive and re-stock

inventory, verifies accuracy of product/material match with labels, bins/shelving/storage

locations, places inventory in correct location, advises of any errors or discrepancies

· On a daily basis, ensure all equipment is in good working condition, pre-start up and

maintenance checklists are completed and submitted; to immediately communicate

mechanical/maintenance issues to supervision

· Ensure warehouse and storage yard is properly maintained in a clean and orderly manner;

products, materials and machinery are moved and stored in a safe fashion

· Respond to warehouse inquiries as required/requested; liaise with sales personnel as

required/requested, to actively assist in the identification, communication and correction of

warehouse errors

· Participate in and promote the Company Health and Safety Program; to undertake training as

required/requested; to ensure adherence to all Health and Safety guidelines

· Operate overhead crane (where available) as required

· Participate in warehouse physical inventory

· Assist customers at warehouse sales counter as required/requested

· Other duties as assigned

innovation along with Research and Development to revolutionize the pulverizing industry. The candidate must be punctual and reliable.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 years experience in Sales and Marketing.

· Experience in prospecting or new business development

· College / University degree is a must in Marketing/Sales.

· Previous experience working in the plastics industry is an asset Positive and friendly personality

· CRM knowledge is an asset

· Multilingualism is an asset.

· Experience in marketing, advertising media, associations, exhibitions

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain relationships to increase product sales to new and existing customers Daily outbound calls to new and existing customers.

· Receive inbound calls and orders from marketing campaigns to targeted customers.

· Willing to travel for meetings and visit customers to offer technical support.

· Manage opportunities, leads & accounts through an internal sales CRM system.

· Increase customer knowledge of our products and suggest new product lines Communicate with the sales manager regarding issues and opportunities.

· Testing customer materials in our lab unit and advising the customer of material's processing ability.

Schedule : Mon to Fri morning shift

Pay: 50k-80k/ year
