Description
We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time position as a MOA in a busy cardiology office.
Duties:
- Scheduling and confirmation of appointments for multiple doctors in EMR.
- Booking and ordering echoes using Health quest.
- Scanning, copying and faxing documentation.
- Medical transcription is an asset.
- Various other administrative responsibilities, i.e., ordering supplies, email documentation, billing, etc.
- Must have a valid driver’s license to travel between our two offices, one in West Edmonton and the other office is located in Fort Saskatchewan.
Qualifications:
- MOA certificate/diploma.
- Familiar with Health Quest, Med Access and EMR system.
- Must speak clear and fluent English.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Must possess a positive, friendly, helpful, and mature attitude and work as a team with their colleagues.
- Ability to multitask in a timely and efficient manner.
- Must be a quick learner and one who takes initiative in their work.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers.
Assets:
- Medical Office Assistant Diploma
- Previous experience within a medical clinic.
- Proficient in typing.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
