Description

We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time position as a MOA in a busy cardiology office.

Duties:

  • Scheduling and confirmation of appointments for multiple doctors in EMR.
  • Booking and ordering echoes using Health quest.
  • Scanning, copying and faxing documentation.
  • Medical transcription is an asset.
  • Various other administrative responsibilities, i.e., ordering supplies, email documentation, billing, etc.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license to travel between our two offices, one in West Edmonton and the other office is located in Fort Saskatchewan.

Qualifications:

  • MOA certificate/diploma.
  • Familiar with Health Quest, Med Access and EMR system.
  • Must speak clear and fluent English.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Must possess a positive, friendly, helpful, and mature attitude and work as a team with their colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Must be a quick learner and one who takes initiative in their work.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers.

Assets:

  • Medical Office Assistant Diploma
  • Previous experience within a medical clinic.
  • Proficient in typing.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
