About This Opportunity

MHE Technicians perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on material handling equipment according to MOL regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform running repairs on forklifts, riders and walkies as required
• Perform annual inspections on forklifts, riders and walkies to certify they meet MOL Safety Standards
• Perform 90-day Preventative Maintenance Inspections and do any follow up repairs as required
• Get quotes for parts/service from suppliers for equipment repairs and maintenance as required
• Attend and pass all safety training required by The Company
• Be self-motivated and be able to organize own work as part of a bigger team
• Maintain a clean and organized area
• Basic computer skills required as work orders are completed online. Knowledge of The SAP Operating System considered an asset

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 year’s work experience (4000 hours)
• 3+ years' experience in the trade or with a Dealership preferred
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
• Must provide your own basic tools. Company provides tool allowance for buying and replacing tools
• Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of SAP operating system preferred
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to organize workload and perform work with minimum supervision
• Must be able to work as part of a larger Team
• Complete and pass all Company required safety training and forklift/rider operator certification
• Be available for shift work if required
