Mixed Grain and Cattle Farm Help Job at Blacklock Ranch Ltd.
Blacklock Ranch Ltd. is a family owned and operated beef cattle and grain farm. We are looking to fill a year-round, full-time position.
Daily duties will depend on the season. Spring and summer months will focus heavily on equipment operation and field work for grain, hay and silage production. Should the successful candidate have a 1A license responsibilities may include hauling cattle, grain, fertilizer and feed. Some cattle handling and yard/pasture maintenance may be required as well.
Fall/winter months will focus on feeding/bedding cattle. Operation and maintenance of general farm equipment and grain handling systems are also important. Candidate must be able to work with others and work long hours during seasonal busy times.
A valid class 1A drivers license would be a strong asset.
Verbal and written English required.
Wage is competitive but will depend on applicants experience. Housing may be available.
Farm is conveniently located within 30 miles of Saskatoon.
