Nanny Job at SR Kennels
Nanny required (part time) 5 hours a day, 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) to care for a 1 year old.
Duties include:
- Organize creative activities and educational games (e.g. drawing, crafting and puppet games, playing with toys and other fun games to educate him)
- Prepare children’s meals and feed them (including bottle-feeding)
- Change diapers and clothing
- Schedule nap times and putting him to bed
- Teach appropriate social behaviors
- Care for him to make sure he stays safe and is watched at all times
- Tidy up play areas
- Ensure children’s safety during indoors and outdoors activities
- Perform housekeeping tasks as needed when child is sleeping
- Work with parents to ensure children’s growth and social development
Criteria:
- completed an early childhood education course
- completed a child CPR course and first aid course
- must have at least 5 years experience working with newborns and young children
- someone who is looking to be a big part of a childs development as he matures as this will be a part-time, permanent position for the next 15+ years
- must be reliable, trustworthy, patient, flexible, caring and loving.
