We are a dynamic, growing organization currently recruiting for an Office and Accounting Administrator to join our team in Chase, British Columbia. We have a unique opportunity for someone to contribute their talents and strengths who is also driven, energetic, and a strategic thinker.

Key Job Duties:

  • Office reception duties including answering phones, greeting visitors, aiding and distributing correspondence such as emails, letters, and phone messages, Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office,
  • Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and transcribing
  • Facilitate overall office administration including office maintenance, stationery and office supplies inventory, mail/couriers, room bookings, and assist with event coordination
  • Support accounting department as needed - Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll and Accounting Manager
  • Strong clerical support such as: filing and tracking employee expense claims, and maintaining accurate records and files
  • Daily reconciliation of financial transactions imported, or data entered into accounting software
  • Participate in month end duties as required by the department
  • Communication with vendors, customers, trades, and employees as required
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned. These duties may fall out of the scope as described to support the business in whatever capacity deemed required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Office Administrator or similar role
  • Diploma in Accounting, or three years accounting administration experience or equivalent experience
  • Ongoing learning specifically related to Financial Management (e.g. workshops, articles, and other methods to remain up-to-date in the field)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Three years’ experience with processing and remittances
  • Familiar with office administration and human resources processes
  • On the job training may be provided
  • Previous experience working with First Nations an asset
  • Ability to maintain Company integrity through confidentiality and discretion

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
