OPERATOR, GIS (LEDUC)
JOB POSTING # 21-22
In this unionized position, the successful candidate prepares maps of Gas Systems using Geographical Information System (GIS) software; edits and maintains new and existing data within the GIS software; and performs other duties as required.
Qualifications include:
- Completion of a two (2) year post-secondary diploma in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Engineering Technology or equivalent;
- Minimum of three years’ experience in GIS editing;
- Experience in GPS data collection or interpretation;
- Experience working in a utility, construction or engineering environment;
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word;
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro; and
- Experience using a work order management system would be an asset.
