Marigold is looking for PR and Social Media focused Interns
Freelance. Remote. 5-10 hours per week. Can be executed after hours/in the evenings.
The candidate should be interested in honing their PR and social media skills, garnering publicity through community, influencers and media relations. They should enjoy tracking success and results. This 3-month freelance internship will support our fastmoving and dynamic team.
Intern Duties
- Participating in creative brainstorm sessions
- Posting approved content to social media
- Executing community engagement for our clients
- Writing for different social media platforms
- Leverage digital tools to execute work and run reports
- Event support
- The development and updating of media lists and other databases
- Administrative duties
Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience:
- Currently enrolled in, or finished a PR or Social Media focused post-secondary program or certificate
- Understanding of Hootsuite, Sprout Social & Meltwater
- Interest or experience in the cannabis industry, or a current/former Budtender
- Previous marketing/PR experience or internships

Salary: From $16.50 per hour
