Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all staffing Levels for each position during the hiring system.
  • Interviewing new candidates for all open catering and premium part time positions
  • Following up, Checking, and ensuring that ALL staff have completed their hiring documentation prior to their first shift.
  • Ensuring all staff has completed their full training prior to their first shift
  • Provide HR with any staff information changes, ensuring all employee files are up to date.
  • Update our staff list and files to ensure all information is always up to date.
  • Responsible for getting Staff credentials for all Premium and Catering Staff
  • Send out Availability surveys to both the Premium and Catering Part-time staff.
  • Schedule Premium and Catering Staff for all upcoming events (i.e., Stadium events and catering events), ensuring all events are properly staffed.
  • Input staff hours into out pay system weekly, ensuring that all information is accurate, and no hours have been missed.
  • Responsible for flagging any issues with hours, tips, training, or other staff information with their manager.
  • Pull tip/gratsreports, splits tips/grats, and pays outs tips/grats per event based on our procedures and policies, ensuring all information is reported correctly and inputted accurately.
  • Follows up with any client on any outstanding payments for previous events, ensuring no payment is more than 30 days outstanding.
  • Process food and beverage invoices and bills through our payment system, providing the guest a receipt, and updating our trackers with the appropriate information.

  • Responsible for closing out ALL our large stadium event bills on event days.
  • Working the night shift to ensure all bills are closed at the end of an event.
  • Assist with training new staff as requested by manager.
  • Occasionally will be asked to assist with checking in staff as is operationally required.
  • Responsible for keeping good filling management and assisting with the file management of the coordinators and managers on the team.
  • Assist with FOH operations involved with the success of an event as delegated by the manager or coordinator.
  • Work with the Premium and Catering Team Managers and Coordinator to ensure all staffing requirements, payments, and other information are up to date for the success of our events.
  • All other tasks as assigned by a manager or Coordinator.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.

  • Frequent periods of standing and walking
  • Outdoor venue subject to changing environmental conditions.
  • Frequent use of stairs.
  • Size of Stadium tends to involve higher physical demands on event days.
  • Sensory Attention: this environment is a noisy loud environment on event days.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous administrative experience considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 1-year previous customer service experience
  • Previous Hospitality experience considered an asset.
  • Must have completed high school or equivalent. Relevant work experience will be considered an asset.
  • Must be bondable, and pass an employer administered background check.
  • Must be able to demonstrate mathematical skills.
  • Must possess a valid Smart Serve Certificate.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Product considered an asset.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work night shifts on REDBLACKS GAMES and other large events. Shifts can go until 2am depending on the workload.
