Sunrise Farms
is expanding in Alberta and we are looking for eighteen production workers for our brand new plant that will start its operations by the end of January 2023. This is a great opportunity for you to be part of this important moment of our history in Alberta and support our leadership, playing a key role for our continued growth.

Role:
The production worker will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of products meets established standards by following Sunrise Farms’ policies and procedures. This role is multifunctional and rotates between different duties, as assigned by the supervisor and manager. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work independently and professionally.

The start hourly rate for this position is $19/hours, moving gradually to $21/hour after 24 months

Responsibilities:

All products must be handled and kept in strict compliance with all internal policies, GMP and local and federal food regulations (CFIA / HACCP).T

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Must have history of good attendance and reliability
  • WHMIS training is an asset
  • Power jack certificate, forklift, and pallet jack experience is an asset.
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
  • High level of manual dexterity to operate equipment
  • Language requirement: speak, read and write English proficiently.
  • This role is physically demanding, not limited to frequent standing, and repetitive movements with hands and shoulders, and lifting up to 25kg.
