We are looking for THE perfect candidate to join our precious team of psychoeducators. If you have good people skills, a desire to learn and get involved in what you do and a sense of initiative, Parcours d'enfant is the place you need to reach your full potential.

  • An interdisciplinary practice in a large dynamic team (speech therapists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, orthopedagogues, occupational therapists & psychosocial workers, TES and child psychiatrist);

  • Access to a very large quantity of up-to-date psychoeducational material (games, tools, books, questionnaires, intervention programs, standardized measuring instruments)

What you would do :
  • Screening, assessment and intervention with children and adolescents with adaptive difficulties (clientele 0-18 years old);
  • Support for parents in setting intervention objectives to support the family and the child;
  • Varied psychoeducational interventions (group activities, training, individual meetings) in the clinic and in our partner settings (elementary and secondary schools, public school boards and daycare centers (CPE);
  • Drafting of balance sheets, reports and record keeping (we have a computerized platform);
  • Possibilities of involvement in various special projects during the year nearby or in remote regions (creation of tools/material for our partner communities, facilitation of training, psychoeducational evaluations, screenings, etc.);
  • Other miscellaneous administrative tasks may be requested from time to time (contribute to the layout of the premises, directory of our clinical tools, support colleagues, etc.)
Working conditions :
  • Salary and schedule - to be discussed (level 1 starting at $50,000/year)
  • Costs related to professional liability insurance are covered by the employer;
  • Flexible hours and work-family balance possible;
  • Possibility of teleworking;
  • Training, supervision and co-development contributing to OPPQ continuing education hours
